Caldera is a larp format for dramatic stories about a group of people revisiting a fraught, intense, disjointed, and traumatic time in their past.
Long ago, something happened, and you were broken. The pieces still hurt to touch, but in the years since then you have tried to get by as an incomplete part of yourself while avoiding those jagged edges. Now the time has come to revisit and reinterpret the past in order to create the future... or fail to.
Caldera dramatizes internal processing the way other genres might dramatize swordplay or a courtroom.
